About Dr. Kazemi

Dr. Kazemi earned her medical degree in top 5% of her class from Iran University of Medical Sciences in 1994. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Cardiovascular disease both at University of Wisconsin/ Milwaukee. Then she went to fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at St Luke's Hospital/University of Wisconsin/ Milwaukee, where she served as the chief fellow and graduated in 2006.

Dr. Kazemi is formally trained and highly skilled in all areas of peripheral vascular intervention as well as coronary intervention. She is board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiolovascular disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology. She is also a Registered Peripheral Vascular Interpreter and practiced as the director of peripheral vascular lab at Pacific Cardiovascular Associates for more than 5 years.

She has authored several noteworthy papers in the field of Interventional Cardiology and Carotid artery interventions in scientific journals. She is committed to evidence-based practice.
