Tanushree S. Nair, DO

One word that describes Dr. Nair’s approach to medicine is empathetic. Her interest in medicine stems from her childhood curiosity found in literature and reading that prompted her desire to hear the stories of others and find ways to get involved to improve their health and daily life. 

Rather than having a specific niche, family medicine provides Dr. Nair the opportunity to be the first place for patients to go when seeking answers. She shares, “family medicine was a no-brainer for me as it affords me the opportunity to treat my patients in so many aspects of medicine, health and wellness.” 

In her practice, she is invested in forming long-term relationships with patients as their primary care doctor. Dr. Nair utilizes connection with others to fuel her passion and joy. Being there for patients during the ups and downs of life, being able to witness evolution and growth, in addition to advocating for patient care is rewarding. 

Dr. Nair received her medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois and completed her family medicine residency at University of Chicago (NorthShore) Family Medicine Residency in Evanston, Illinois. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Nair finds joy in exploring local restaurants, cuisines, Broadway musicals and live music. She also enjoys literature and writing.
